More Time For Naps

By Stephanie

My Christmas tree is still up.

I do have a goal to take it down this week. Maybe even today. For real.

There’s just been so many other things going on that have ranked higher on the priority list. Like napping.

My boys’ school has a rule that when it’s your child’s birthday and they want to bring in a birthday treat, it mustn’t be homemade. No more cupcakes or cookies or ice cream cone cakes like my Mom used to make.

Hey, that’s baking time I can instead spend napping!

Lots of kids just pass out a piece of candy or something individually wrapped. Our favorite thing has been to pass out personalized Fruit Roll-Ups by My Fruit Roll-Ups. I let Noah be in charge of creating his for his birthday coming up. With over 400 styles to choose from, he picked a rockin’ guitar design and even included his own picture! It’s super easy and just $29.99 for a box of 30. And they are much tastier and better looking than my camera could capture.

Win! It’s Bloggy Giveaways time again and I’m giving away some My Fruit Roll-ups that you can personalize and enjoy. Just leave a comment here letting me know what you’d create if you win! US entries only and one comment per person. Winner will be announced sometime after Thursday January 29, 2009 11:59 PM.

Contest has ended. Congrats to Carrie from Sweet Mommy Dreams!
